How do I add a YouTube video to a page?
1. Before we can start, you will need to create a YouTube account and upload your video there first. Here is a great resource that will walk you through how to upload a video to YouTube.
2. Once you have uploaded your video to YouTube, go view the video as your client would.
3. From here you can find the link or embed code that you will send to your Design Team.
4. To find the link, copy the full URL from your search bar and paste it into an email to your Design Team.
5. To find the embed code, click Share to open the sharing options.
6. From here, click Embed.
7. Now copy the code to the right of the video and paste this code in an email to your Design Team.
3. Once you have found the link or embed code for your new video, please send the link or code to your Design Team and let them know where you want the video added. You can do this by logging in to your Dashboard, here, and clicking Contact Us.
Wait. What about Vimeo?
If you do not have a YouTube account and prefer to use Vimeo, we can add the video to your site in the same way.
1. Create a Vimeo account and upload your video there first. Here is a great resource that will walk you through how to upload a video to Vimeo.
2. Once you have uploaded your video to Vimeo, go view the video as your client would.
3. From here you can find the link or embed code that you will send to your Design Team.
4. To find the link, copy the full URL from your search bar and paste it into an email to your Design Team.
5. To find the embed code, click the paper airplane icon to open the sharing options.
6. From here, copy the embed code at the bottom of the window and paste this code in an email to your Design Team.
3. Once you have found the link or embed code for your new video, please send the link or code to your Design Team and let them know where you want the video added. You can do this by logging in to your Dashboard, here, and clicking Contact Us.
