Disconnect Instagram and Facebook Connection

Social Genie does not integrate with Instagram. If you have any issues connecting your Facebook Business page to Social Genie, you will need to remove the connection with Instagram so you can connect the Facebook Business page to Social Genie. The steps are listed below. 

1. Log into your personal Facebook Account ( https://www.facebook.com)

2. Select the profile icon towards the top right corner of the screen and click on the Facebook Business page that is connected to your Instagram account.

Your Facebook Business Account should now be active (in the below screenshot you will see how our Brighter Vision Test Account, which is our test business account, is now the active account).

3. Next, click on your Business Account profile icon - towards the top right corner of the page (this is the same spot where your personal Facebook page logo was). 

Click on "Settings & privacy" 

4. Then select Settings

5. From the left sidebar, select "Linked Accounts" under the Permissions heading

6. Select Instagram in the center of the screen

*** Please note - we do NOT have an Instagram account connected, this is why our below screenshot says "Not connected". Yours will say Connected.

7. Click on the "Disconnect Account" button and confirm the changes

The Instagram connection with your Facebook Business page should now be removed.
