Flourish/Thrive/Prosper | Google Analytics – Setup & Admin Access

This article will guide you through how to set up a Google Analytics account and grant Admin Access to our Onboarding team to handle the rest on your behalf!

Creating a Google Analytics account

1) Getting Started | Please go to this link: Google Analytics, click Get Started Today at the top right, then click Start Measuring on the next page.
2) Account creation | Enter a name for your Google Analytics Account (you can use your business name). The checkboxes under Account Data Sharing Settings are all optional. Feel free to select whichever boxes you might like, then click Next.
3) Property creation | Enter a name for your Property (your business name would work here, too!), select your Time Zone, and select Next.
4) Business details | Click the Industry category dropdown menu, select the Health option, and select whichever business size option best represents your business.
5) Business objectives | Click Generate leads, read and accept the Terms of Service Agreement, then click Create
6) Data collection | Under Choose a platform, click the Web option.
7) Click the checkbox underneath Website URL and select the https:// option.
8) Copy and paste your domain name in next field (ex: brightervision.com). Do not type www. or https:// in this field!

9) Create a name for your Data Stream (you can use your business name again), select the Enhanced measurement option, and click Create Stream
10) After the Web Stream details and Installation instructions windows pop up (around ~2:35 in the video), you can instead click the X icon to close out of each window, and proceed to the next section of the article!
