Social Genie Facebook Business Page Connection Issue

You may be experiencing an issue with connecting Social Genie to your Facebook Business page. If you receive an error that states "It doesn't look like you have any business pages connected to your Facebook account." and you already have a Facebook Business page created, then you can follow the steps in this article to fix the connection problem. Here is an example of that error message:

This issue usually occurs due to a Facebook Business page connection to a Meta Business Suite profile. You can find out if you have a Meta Business Suite profile by logging into your Facebook account and then navigating to the below link:

https://business.facebook.com/

You will be taken to the Meta Business Suite dashboard. Next, go to the top left and click on the drop-down menu for your profile:

You should see your Facebook Business page listed in the Business portfolios section. Click on the settings gear icon to access your Meta Business Suite profile settings.

From the settings page, select "Pages" within the left sidebar:

Select your Facebook Business page and then click on the "Remove" button. Please DO NOT select the "Manage" button as this controls access to the Facebook Business page from your personal Facebook account. 

Then select the "Remove Page from business portfolio" option:

Once removed, you will still have access to your Facebook Business page from your personal Facebook account. You can view and manage the Facebook Business pages from your personal account at the below link:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=your_pages

Now that the Facebook Business page has been removed from the Meta Business Suite profile, you should be able to connect it to Social Genie. Please log back into Social Genie at the below link and navigate back to the Social Genie settings:

https://socialgenie.brightervision.com/

Click on the Facebook connect option and select "Reconnect" in the pop-up window:

You may need to select the "Edit previous settings" option to ensure that you have the correct Facebook Business page selected. Then select your Facebook Business page after clicking the "Reconnect" button:

Your Facebook Business page should now be connected to Social Genie!
