How to Set Up Brighter Insights

Welcome, this page will help guide you through the process of setting up your Brighter Insights Dashboard. If you run into any issues please reach out to our support team support@brightervision.com and we'll be able to help guide you through this process!

When you first log in, Brighter Insights should look similar to this:

Notice, we've already added the keywords we'll be tracking for your website but there are some blue connect buttons that you'll need to use to connect your Google accounts. After you've connected Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile, you'll be able to log in to Brighter Insights at any time to see how your website is doing and that will allow us to send you detailed reports each month. 

Step 1: Google Analytics

If you already have a Google Analytics account set up then you can skip the setup directions and follow the steps on how to get it connected to the Brighter Insights Dashboard. If you haven't set up Google Analytics yet or are unsure please follow the guide below:

Connecting Google Analytics to Brighter Insights

Click the blue Connect button that's on one of the Google Analytics sections of your Brighter Insights Dashboard. 

After you click the Connect button a new window will pop up and you’ll want to click Connect New Account:

You’ll then be brought to a new screen where you’ll have to click Connect New Account (again):


After that, it will prompt you to log in to your Google account. 

If something goes wrong when you try to connect your Google Analytics account make sure that you're using the same Google account you used to set up Google Analytics, this is one the most common issues people run into. If you're still having trouble please reach out to the support team support@brightervision.com.

If everything is set up correctly you should start to see data appear in this section within 48 hours of setting up your Google Analytics account.

Step 2: Google Search Console

If you already have a Google Search Console account set up then you can skip the setup directions and follow the steps on how to get it connected to the Brighter Insights Dashboard. If you haven't set up Google Search Console yet or are unsure please follow the guide below:

Connecting Google Search Console to Brighter Insights

Click the blue Connect button that's on one of the Google Search Console sections of your Brighter Insights Dashboard. 

After you click the Connect button a new window will pop up and you’ll want to click Connect New Account:

Connecting Google Business Profile to Brighter Insights

Click the blue Connect button that's on one of the Google Business Profile sections of your Brighter Insights Dashboard. 

After you click the Connect button a new window will pop up and you’ll want to click Connect New Account:

You’ll then be brought to a new screen where you’ll have to click Connect New Account (again):

After that, it will prompt you to log in to your Google account. 

If something goes wrong when you try to connect your Google Business Profile account make sure that you're using the same Google account you used to set up Google Business Profile, this is one the most common issues people run into. If you're still having trouble please reach out to the support team support@brightervision.com.

If everything is set up correctly you should start to see data appear in this section after you've verified your physical address with Google.

Your Brighter Insights Dashboard Is All Set Up Now!

If you've followed all of the steps above and you can see data in every section of your Brighter Insights Dashboard everything is set up correctly. You can log in to your Brighter Insights Dashboard at any time to see how things are going and we'll also send you a detailed monthly report that includes all of this data.
